I’m new to sex toys – how do I use them?
First of all, welcome. Toys are for everyone and a wonderful way for you to explore your body and enhance your pleasure. All of our toys have step-by-step instructions on the product pages which will help you guide you to know how to use and get the most of your product. We always encourage you to explore your body and work out what works best for you, but our guides will help you understand how to get started.
What’s the life expectancy of your toys?
Our toys are produced to a high-quality and many of our customers use their favourite Tiearn vibrators for years. It of course depends on how often you use it, but our average lifespan is 3-5 years. We offer a 1-year warranty on all of our toys so if you have any issues within a year of use we’ll replace your toy for you.
How long does the battery last?
With all Tiearn toys, 1 hour of charging gives 90 minutes of play (on the highest setting).
Are Tiearn Vibrators waterproof?
Yes, Tiearn Toys are all waterproof (up to 2 metres deep, for up to 2 hours) and can make a great addition to your bath or shower routine. Be sure that the silicone flap is secured in place before placing your toy in water. You can take any of the Tiearn toys with you, and in particular we would recommend Mimi Soft, Hera Rabbit Vibrator or G Spot Bullet Vibrator to spice up your bath time.
How do you test your toys?
Tiearn Vibrator’s waterproof standard involves submerging it in water, running it for two complete cycles (from full battery to flat), and ensuring that no water enters the product. All of our products are IPX7 rated (that is really waterproof!).
What does Body-safe mean?
Body-safe, in simple terms, means that the material is safe for external and internal use. This means that the toys have to be: non-porous (meaning you can thoroughly clean your toy which avoids any bacteria build-up), non-toxic (the materials used won’t harm you) and safe for use (the shape of the toy is deemed as safe). All Tiearn Sex Toys are body-safe, so you can confidently use your toy knowing you are in safe hands.
How do I charge my toy?
There are different types of charger for different toys, however all Tiearn Sex Toys come with a charging wire so all you will need is a USB socket and a power source! If you happen to lose your charger don’t worry we also sell spare chargers so you won’t be long without your favourite vibe.
Can I use lube with a Tiearn vibrator?
The short answer is yes, you absolutely can, in fact, we actually recommend it. Lube can be a great way to increase pleasure when using your toys, it also carries touch and vibration really well! Lube also reduces the risk of chafing or micro-abrasions. Be aware that Silicone lube should never be used with a silicone sex toy, so always stick to a water-based lube when using Tiearn Sex Toys. If your toy is being used internally we recommend that you use lube to ensure your experience is comfortable. If you are using an anal product we recommend that you always use an appropriate lube as the anus doesn’t self-lubricate, so it’s essential for your experience that you invest in a high-quality anal lube with your toy. What is the difference between rumbly and buzzy vibrations?
In simple terms, buzzy vibrations have a high frequency and rumbly vibrations have a low frequency. Lower frequencies are able to reach deeper tissues in the body than higher frequency vibrations. Vibrators with a low frequency give a rumbling vibration rather than a buzzy vibration, and this results in more internal nerve endings and more pleasure points being stimulated. Why are there different speeds and patterns?
All of our products provide a range of speeds which can alter the intensity of the vibrations depending on how strong you want this. We also offer a range of rhythms which can be changed to explore different pulses and patterns. You can select the different speeds and patterns via the + and – for speeds and via the ~ for patterns. Have fun and explore what works for you.
How do I clean my sex toy?
We recommend cleaning your toys after every use, with either soap and warm water, or with a gentle toy cleaner. After cleaning your Tiearn sex toy, leave it to dry and store in a cool, dry place. Be sure that the silicone flap is firmly in place before doing this!
How quiet are your vibrators?
All Tiearn Vibrators are super quiet, between 33-35.5 decibels from a 1 metre distance, providing discreet and whisper-quiet pleasure.
How are your toys Vegan?
All of the materials in our sex toys do not have any ingredients that are made from animals. This includes everything from the silicone to the glue we use. All of the toys on our site are ethically produced within our own manufacturing factory.
